Quality from us represents a competitive driver, which has a strong strategic importance.
As a matter of fact, Quality is not intended solely as product quality, but also as quality of the workplace and personal relationships: the company is able in this way to work in harmony with people and with all the actors of the supply chain (customers, suppliers and sub-suppliers, distributors, internal and external partners). All this would be impossible without the commitment, skills and a passion for their work of all the Company's employees.
TOMA srl is also aware that greater professional flexibility of its employees can only be achieved through the development and strengthening of human resources: the attention to personnel training is very high, by planning a lot of training courses in collaboration with important Training Center such as Bureau Veritas.
These conditions allow the Company to easily implement a Quality Management System which has been certified by CERMET, attesting the conformity according to the UNI EN ISO-9001: 2015. The organizational model is based on an approach that allows us to identify the interactions between any single processes, to identify interconnections between them, to evaluate them in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, as well as to promote continuous improvement, through the application of the methodology known as "Plan-Do-Check-Act" (PCDA). More specifically, the main reference is to the "critical" processes, i.e. those having particular influence on the design of the customer's product, since they are the ones that influence the quality of our products.
Quality process is monitored through the SPC statistical control, which is managed through a system that can automatically and wirelessly acquire all the measurements of the characteristics to be checked. Associated software analyzes these measurements, outlining the control charts in real time.
These control charts are analyzed in real time, carefully considering any process variability due to special causes, which are timely identified, analyzed, recorded and stored in defect control sheets, exploiting also tools such as Ishikawa diagrams or Pareto histograms, in order to analyze all the defects found. The aim is to achieve values of Process and Performance Capability that meet the demands of our customers.
The Quality of products is, however, guaranteed by dimensional controls and by the quality material tests performed, thanks to the wide equipment available in our metrological laboratory. The company is able to carry out the following laboratory tests:
- Salt-spray corrosion test
- Magnetic Particle Inspection
- Microstructural alteration inspection and white layer evaluation of grinded parts
- Contamination test
- Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) hardness and micrographic structure of welded parts
Our strategic goal is to continuously improve the Customer's satisfaction, complying with their expectations and requirements, especially in relations to the technical characteristics, completeness and clarity of documentation and the terms of delivery.
